目的

SCC-S2是近期发现的一种在多种癌症中过表达,并且与癌细胞的恶性生物学行为关系密切的物质。但是在结直肠癌中,SCC-S2的表达和生物学作用未见报道。本研究目的是探索SCC-S2在结直肠癌及其癌旁正常组织中的表达水平,探讨SCC-S2与结直肠癌患者临床病理特征的关系。

方法

本研究应用免疫组化分析了SCC-S2在136例结直肠癌组织中的表达情况,使用SPSS 18.0软件进行统计分析。

结果

67例(49.26%)结直肠癌标本SCC-S2过表达。SCC-S2的过表达与结直肠癌的TNM分期显著相关(P<0.01);与淋巴结转移显著相关(P<0.05);与细胞增殖指数显著相关(P>0.01)。

结论

SCC-S2在结直肠癌中表达升高,并与结直肠癌侵袭和淋巴结转移密切相关。SCC-S2在结直肠癌的发生发展中可能发挥着重要作用。

Objective

SCC-S2 was recently reported to be overexpressed in various cancers and associated with the malignant behavior of cancer cells.However, the expression of SCCS2 and its biological roles in colorectal cancers have not been reported.The aim of this study is to investigate the expression and clinical significance of SCC-S2 in colorectal cancers.

Methods

The expression pattern of SCC-S2 in 136 colorectal cancer tissues was analyzed by immunohistochemistry.The statistic analysis was performed by SPSS 18.0.

Results

SCC-S2 was overexpressed in 67(49.26 %)of 136 colon cancer specimens.There was a significant association between SCC-S2 overexpression and TNM stage(P<0.01), lymph node metastasis(P<0.05), and proliferation index(P<0.01).

Conclusions

SCC-S2 is overexpressed in colorectal cancers and contributes to invasion and lymph node metastasis.SCC-S2 may play an important role as tumor-promoting factor in colorectal cancer.
