Abstract:

Multiple primary colorectal cancer (MPCC), also known as repetitive colorectal cancer, has a increasing morbidity rate in recent years. However, the exact etiology and pathogenesis of MPCC are still unknown. Moreover, there is no standard guideline for clinicians, which may lead to missed diagnosis and delay treatment. In this study, we aim to improve the clinicial alertness of diagnosis and treatment of MPCC by describing a case diagnosed synchronous and metachronous multiple primary colorectal four-cancer.
