Abstract:

In recent years, the incidence of tumor has risen apparently, and for most of malignant tumor patients, they undergo surgical procedures. The recurrence and metastasis of primary tumor after operation is one of the main causes of poor prognosis. Studies show that the function of the patient′s immune system is interacting with the development of the tumor. As an integral part of the perioperative period, anesthesia has a complex relationship with the immune system and the recurrence and metastasis of the malignant tumor during the postoperative period. In this review, we describe the effects of various anesthetic methods and narcotic drugs on the immune system of the tumor patients and the postoperative metastasis and recurrence of tumor patients.
