Research status of risk factors of anastomotic leakage after resection of rectal cancer

Abstract:

Anastomotic leakage is one of the most serious complications after rectal cancer surgery, which increases the incidence of postoperative mortality and other complications. In recent years, a large number of studies have been carried out to explore the risk factors of anastomotic leakage. However, some results are still controversial. In this review, we will discuss the risk factors of anastomotic leakage after rectal cancer surgery.
