Abstract

Abstract:

Laparoscopic ultra-low anterior resection for rectal cancer by trans-anal specimen extraction is one of natural orifice specimen extraction surgeries (NOSES). Its merits include the direct-vision transection of distal tumor margin, ensuring a safe margin, and less invasion without abdominal incision, facilitating a faster recovery.
