Evaluation and the advantages of hand-assisted laparoscopic surgery for colorectal carcinoma

Abstract:

In recent years, hand-assisted laparoscopic technique is the model that combines minimally invasive laparoscopic surgical techniques with traditional open surgery to the greatest extent in treatment of colorectal cancer.And this technique becomes more and more universal, and is gradually accepted by more and more surgeons.Combining the steps of the Hand-assisted laparoscopic surgery and the conventional technique of laparoscopic surgery, the result is roughly the same.However, due to that restored surgeon tactile, so it takes into account the dual advantage of minimally invasive surgery and laparotomy.Additional hand-assisted laparoscopic resection of colorectal cancer also has a wide range of indications, the shorter physician learning curve, shorter operative time, less postoperative complications, and surgery to control bleeding quickly, appearing for accident surgery could be the most quick remedy, indirectly improve the safety of surgery.Despite the hand-assisted laparoscopic technique has many advantages over the surgical treatment of colorectal cancer diseases, but there are still some shortcomings, such as hand surgery in the womb by exposure to occupy space vision unfavorable, it may also result in reducing of the rigor pneumoperitoneum; prolonged fatigue caused by surgery surgeon.This article aims to objectively summarize the development, advantage and application of assisted laparoscopic surgical treatment of colorectal cancer.
