A case report of recurrence of sacrococcygeal pilonidal sinus with sacrococcygeal bone marrow edema after operation

Abstract:

To explore the therapeutic effect of sacrococcygeal bone marrow edema after sacrococcygeal pilonidal sinus operation. After operation, patient was given antibiotics, anti anaerobic agents and surgical dressing. After 24 days, the sacrococcygeal wound healed. After 42 days, the sacrococcygeal bone marrow edema evidently subsided. Following up 1 year, no discomfort, no bone marrow edema was found.
