Abstract:

Objective

To observe the effect of the therapeutic method of excision with reversed T cut and internal ligation suspension (EERTILS) for mixed hemorrhoids.

Methods

100 patients were randomly divided into two groups, the treatment group was treated with EERTILS while the control group was treated with conventional milligan-morgan.

Results

There were no statistical differences between the two groups in terms of treatment efficiency (P=0.140) and operation time (P=0.3198). The treatment group was significantly superior in respects of post-operation pain, uroschesis, dropsy in cut edge, remaining wart and anal stricture (P<0.05), while hospitalization duration and wood healing time were shorter (P<0.05).

Conclusions

Compaired with conventional method, EERTILS has several advantages such as less trauma, faster healing and less complications.

Key words: Hemorrhoids, Anal canal, External excision with reversed T cut, Internal ligation suspension
