The study of the correlation between body mass index and colorectal cancer mechanism

Abstract:

Overweight or obesity is a pathologic status.Recently, obesity is known as one of the risk factors of several kinds of tumors including colorectal cancer.Some studies showed that fat tissue could secrete some factors relevant to the development and progress of colorectal cancer.This review article introduced the pathophysiological status of obesity and the correlation between relevant factors and the molecular mechanism of colorectal cancer.
