Sacral nerve stimulation in the treatment of intractable constipation

Abstract:

With the increasing incidence of chronic constipation, many patients with intractable constipation need to perform surgical operation.Sacral neuromodulation(SNM) is a new means of treating constipation, and its mechanism is undefined.We think that SNM which solved the root cause of intractable constipation from regulating function had a good application prospect with well curative effect, simple operation, reversibility, safety and reliability, and less adverse effect on the patients.
