Abstract

Abstract:

Objective

To explore the expression of TNF-α、IL-8 in rat colon tissue with ulcerative colitis(UC ).

Methods

30 SD rats were randomly divided into the control group(10 rats)and the model group(20 rats). And the model was made by using trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid and ethanol.The expression of TNF-α、IL-8 in colonic mucosa in two groups were measured by ELISA.

Results

The level of TNF-α、IL-8 were significantly higher in UC group than that in the controls(P<0.05).

Conclusion

TNF-α、IL-8 are closely related with UC and play important roles in the inflammatory progress of this disease.
