Abstract:

Primary colonic adenosquamous carcinoma is a rare pathological type, accounting for only 0.05%~0.20% of colonic malignant tumors. The pathogenesis of colonic adenosquamous carcinoma remains unclear. Compared with adenocarcinoma, colonic adenosquamous carcinoma has lower differentiation, is more prone to local and distant metastasis, and has a worse prognosis. At present, the treatment of colorectal adenosquamous carcinoma is referred to adenocarcinoma. This article shared the diagnosis and treatment process of a case of colorectal adenosquamous carcinoma, providing reference for clinicians.
