Abstract:

Objective

To use the internet to realize data management of special needs outpatient clinics, improve service quality, and improve medical services.

Methods

The SAS software was used to conduct a questionnaire survey of "Satisfaction with Care (SCA) Questionnaire" for patients who went to the Special Needs Clinic of Cancer Hospital from May 1, 2018 to October 30, 2019.

Results

It was found that the age, gender, work status, household registration, religious belief, marital status, smoking history, and income of patients who came to the hospital were not statistically significant; the call appointment rate was only 30% of the call appointment rate . The needs of patients for the hospital's medical guidance and publicity methods are changing; patients who come to special needs outpatient clinics are mostly non-local patients, accounting for 70% of the total number of patients, and 20% of the patients are from non-local rural areas.

Conclusion

Patients hope to use information-based appointment methods to complete their appointments, and information technology can help improve patient satisfaction.
