Abstract:

Anatomy is the basis of surgery, and embryology is the basis of anatomy. The theoretical system of embryological blastoderm development is helpful to understand the origin and evolution of anatomical structure. From the perspective of development, the anatomical structure of the abdomen and pelvis can be divided into three stratums: the organs derived from primitive gut, the urogenital stratum and the wall of the abdomen and pelvis. By systematically understanding the longitudinal development of these three stratums, it is helpful to better discover the essence of anatomy through anatomical morphology. To help young doctors integrate the knowledge of embryology, anatomy and surgery, and make the understanding system of clinical applied anatomy better serve the clinical practice of surgery.

Key words: Abdomen, Pelvis, Primitive gut, Urogenital stratum, Embryology, Anatomy, Colorectum
