Progress in etiology and treatment of benign anastomotic stricture after colorectal cancer surgery

Abstract:

Benign anastomotic stricture is a common complication after colorectal cancer surgery and should be given early prevention and treatment. Recently, relevant studies regarding the etiology of benign anastomotic stricture and novel approaches in surgical treatment were increasing gradually. Here, we would like to discuss the progress in etiology and treatment according to relevant researches and our clinical practice.
