Successful removal of a huge spherical rectal foreign body using the transsacral approach

Abstract:

Rectal foreign bodies is very rare. Small foreign bodies can be removed by transanal procedure while more big and variable origin and shape ones are different to be removed. The new transsacral approach to this case and treatment process is proper. The patient recovered well. This article aims at offering useful guidance for this disease by summarizing the experience of diagnosis and treatment on one case of huge spherical rectal foreign body.
