Abstract:

Objective

To investigate the effect of meticulous fine nursing on the recovery of gastrointestinal tract in the convalescent period of colorectal polyps.

Methods

106 cases of colorectal polyps in Hainan Genergy Hospital from May 2016 to September 2017 were divided into control group and observation group by digital list, fifty-three cases in each group. The control group used the routine nursing, and the observation group carried out fine care. To observe and compare he clinical effects, the recovery of gastrointestinal tract, the adverse reaction and the average time of hospitalization between the two groups. Observe and compare the nursing efficacy of two groups of patients satisfaction, the change of the Self-rating anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-rating depression scale (SDS) score before and after nursing, recovery time of gastrointestinal tract, the average time of hospitalization, complications of gastrointestinal recovery and related indicators between the two groups.

Results

The total satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=4.711, P=0.03). Before nursing, there was no significant difference in SAS and SDS scores between the two groups (SAS: t=-0.67, P=0.504; SDS: t=0.85, P=0.397). After nursing, the scores of SAS and SDS in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (SAS: t=12.165, P<0.001; SDS: t=12.581, P<0.001). The gastrointestinal recovery time and the average hospitalization time of the patients in the observation group were lower than that in the control group (t=9.069, P<0.001), so was the average hospitalization time and the difference was statistically significant (t=9.899, P<0.001). The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=4.296, P=0.038).

Conclusion

The effect of meticulous nursing on the recovery of gastrointestinal tract in patients with colorectal polyps is significant, which can improve the satisfaction degree of patients, reduce the recovery time of gastrointestinal tract and the average hospitalization time, and reduce the incidence of complications, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
