Abstract:

As one of most common cancer in China, with the development of diagnosis and treatment, the 5-year survival rate of patients with colorectal cancer has been increased. However, there are still some patients with extremely bad 5-year survival who experienced peritoneal cavity metastasis when diagnosed as colorectal cancer or after radical surgery. At present, several studies have indicated that cytoreductive surgery added with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy is an effective treatment to peritoneal cavity metastasis in colorectal cancer, which can enhance the quality of life and prolong survival. This paper systemically reviewed the clinical care of patients with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy after colorectal cancer surgery so as to provide information for clinical care, improve the efficacy of therapy and enhance the quality of nursing service comprehensively.
