Diagnosis treatment and prevention of anastomotic leakage in patients after colorectal cancer surgery

Abstract

Abstract:

Colorectal cancer is a common malignant tumor of digestive system, its morbidity and mortality rate is increasing year by year. The operation therapy is currently the most effective method of colorectal cancer, but the anastomotic leakage remains one of the most common and serious complications after colorectal cancer surgery. We review the domestic and international studies on the anastomotic leakage in patients after colorectal cancer surgery, and expect to reduce the occurrence rate of anastomotic leakage.
