Perioperative nursing for patients with pedicle skin flap in repairing chest wall ulcer

Objective

To discuss the effect of perioperative nursing for patients with pedicle skin flap in repairing chest wall ulcer.

Methods

11 patients with pedicle skin flap in repairing chest wall ulcer were taking good perioperative nursing care. To promote the wound healing by psychological nursing, medicine instruction, observation of blood circulation of flap, health education and functional training.

Results

All the ulcer wound of 11 patients were stage I heal, no related complications, patients and family members were all satisfied.

Conclusion

Careful perioperative observation and care were important to ensure patients′ better recover and successful in operation.
