Abstract

Abstract:

Primary adenocarcinoma of the appendix can be divided into the mucous adenocarcinoma, colonic carcinoma type, goblet cells and signet ring cell carcinoma. Primary appendix mucus gland carcinoma is rare, the cause is unknown. Preoperative misdiagnosis rate is high. We report one case of primary appendix mucus gland carcinoma, and review the literature .
