Strutegies for the prevention of ischemia reperfusion injury caused by small bowel transplantation

Abstract:

The intestine is extremely sensitive to ischemia; and the severe I/R after intestinal transplantation defects the effect of intestinal transplantation.A variety of methods show broad prospects, such as ischemic-preconditioning, improving preservation solution, and using anti-inflammatory drugs in the experimental stage.Combined with our research, the study reviews current methods and strategies for attenuating I/R of intestine.
