Highlights of issues in the neoadjuvant treatment in locally advanced rectal cancer

Abstract

Abstract:

The neoadjuvant treatment has been the standard modality of locally advanced rectal cancer.How to optimize this modality is the key issue including the selection of suitable patients, evaluation of treatment response and making treatment strategies based on response of neoadjuvant treatment instead of the postoperative pathology.
