Abstract

Abstract:

Colon cancer tends to invade nearby tissues or organs, and radical resection could improve the patient′s prognosis. However, in the case of colon cancer invading the head of the pancreas, pancreaticoduodenectomy combined with resection of the colon cancer presents a great challenge to both the doctors and the patients. Therefore, surgical indication selection and perioperative management should be paid attention. In this paper, we reviewed a case which took pancreaticoduodenectomy combined with resection of the colon cancer.
