Abstract:

In recent years, the incidence of colorectal cancer showed a significant upward trend, and the probability of postoperative recurrence was as high as 50%. With the popularization of the multidisciplinary team treatment (MDT) model, and the reoperation of local recurrence of colorectal cancer under MDT, the patients of colorectal cancer receive optimal treatment and significantly longer survival. The rectal cancer patient in this paper have survived for 11.5 years since the first operation. Although the patient eventually had disease progression, but the survival was significantly prolonged under the MDT model, after undergoing operations for eight times, chemotherapy for three times and radiotherapy for two times. In this paper, we will summarize the diagnosis and treatment and share some experience.
