Robot-assisted surgery for the simultaneous resection of rectal cancer and liver metastases with the concept of NOSES: a case report

Abstract

Abstract:

This article reports and analyzes a case of robot-assisted resection of rectal cancer combined with liver metastases (NOSES IV), which is removed through the anus without an assisted incision in the abdomen. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the feasibility of robotic NOSES for rectal cancer patients with liver metastasis, and to provide a new perspective on the concept of minimally invasive surgery for the benefit of more patients.
