Abstract:

Objective

To study the applied effects of fast track surgery-based high quality nursing during surgery of colorectal cancer.

Methods

100 colorectal cancer patients treated from July 2018 to July 2019 in Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University were investigated and randomly assigned to observation group (50 cases) and control group (50 cases). To explore the impact of different nursing care on postoperative recovery indicators, postoperative complications, and postoperative patient satisfaction.

Results

Initial anal exhaust time, early ambulant time and average hospital length of stay in the observation group were significantly shorter than control group (t=17.600, 8.882, 15.072; P<0.05); complication rate in the observation group (2.00%) was significantly lower than control group (14.00%)(χ2=4.891, P<0.05); nursing satisfaction in the observation group (98.00%) was significantly higher than control group (84.00%) (χ2=5.983, P<0.05).

Conclusion

During surgery of colorectal cancer, fast track surgery-based high quality nursing can greatly reduce the operation indicators, postoperative complications, and increase the nursing satisfaction. It is worthy of application and promotion.
