Clinical progress of brain metastasis in colorectal cancer

Abstract:

One of the most common malignancies cancer in the world is colorectal cancer, and of which metastasis was a leading cause of treatment failure and cancer-related death. Colorectal cancer brain metastases was rare, while the prognosis is really very poor. The pathogenesis of colorectal cancer brain metastasis is still without consensus up-to-date, because of various factors may affect the outcome. Treatment strategies for brain metastases were mainly based on comprehensive algorithm, and the overall survival was significant different from each other. So individual strategies for these cases might be explored in the future.
