Abstract:

Objective

To understand the anxiety and depression, self-care ability and quality of life of ileal stoma patients, and the incidence of stoma complications. At the same time, explore the impact of the integrated medical and nursing work mode on anxiety and depression in patients with ileostomy, quality of life after discharge, self-care ability and ostomy complications.

Methods

A total of 100 patients with low and medium rectal cancer who underwent ileostomy at the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University from December 2018 to June 2019 were selected as the test subjects. According to the random number table method, the patients in the group were randomly divided into the experimental group (n=50) and the control group (n=50). The control group was given routine care and the test group was given integrated medical and nursing care. The intervention time was from admission to 3 months after surgery. The anxiety and depression scores, self-care ability scores and quality of life scores of the two groups of patients were measured, and the complications related to ostomy were observed.

Results

The test group was better than the control group in terms of self-care ability, quality of life, anxiety and depression. The incidence of ostomy complications in the control group was significantly higher than that in the test group.

Conclusion

The integrated medical and nursing work mode can significantly improve the self-care ability of patients; improve the quality of life of patients; alleviate negative emotions such as anxiety and depression, and significantly reduce the incidence of stoma complications.
