Abstract:

Objective

To explore the current situation of the readiness for hospital discharge and its influencing factors in postoperative patients with rectal cancer.

Methods

Results

The total score of discharge readiness of patients with rectal cancer after surgery was 142.14±33.54. The multivariate analysis showed that age, whether or not to live alone, self-care state, and whether or not to be ready for discharge were independent risk factors that affected the RHDS of postoperative patients with rectal cancer.

Conclusion

The RHDS of postoperative patients with rectal cancer is a medium level, according to the individual differences, continuous nursing advice should be give, and social health service resources should be used effectively to improve their discharge readiness status.
