Abstract:

Ulcerative colitis is a manifestation of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The incidence of ulcerative colitis is mainly concentrated in the colon and rectum. Its complications are mainly hemorrhage, perforation, canceration and recurrence of obstruction. Ulcerative colitis is different from Crohn′s disease. Ulcerative colitis can be cured by operation, and the recurrence rate and complication rate after operation are low. Patients with ulcerative colitis have more important significance. The indications for surgery, the management of the operation and the management of the perioperative period have a close relationship with the effect of the operation and the life quality of the postoperative patients. Therefore, the surgeon′s experience and technology put forward higher requirements. This paper focuses on the surgical indications, surgical methods and perioperative management of ulcerative colitis.
