Clinical observation of Chinese medicine sticking combined with massage therapy in the treatment of functional constipation after anorectal operation

Abstract:

Objective

To observe the clinical therapeutic effect of Chinese medicine sticking combined with massage in the treatment of functional constipation after anorectal operation.

Methods

Sixty-two cases of anorectal postoperative functional constipation patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, each group of 31 cases.Treatment group were treated by Chinese medicine sticking combined with massage theraphy, and control group was given the Hansen Simodecoction. To observe the two groups of patients with defecation time, stool frequency, defecate difficulty, pain, bleeding and other therapeutic index and effect.

Results

Through observation, The two groups showed significant differences in the aspect of defecation time (t=-17.09, P<0.001), stool frequency (t=22.23, P<0.001), defecate difficulty (t=-9.46, P<0.001), pain (t=-8.87, P<0.001), bleeding (t=-2.96, P<0.01), the effective rate of the treatment group was 93.5%, and that of the control group was 67.7%. There was significant difference between the two groups (X2=6.61, P<0.05).

Conclusion

The application of Chinese medicine sticking combined with massage therapy is effective in the treatment of functional constipation after anorectal surgery, which is worthy of clinical application.
