Abstract:

Objective

To evaluate the analgesic effect of buprenorphine transdermal patch after Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy.

Methods

Sixty patients under Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy were randomly divided into 2 groups, each group has 30 cases. The control group received routine postoperative treatment, while the treatment group was treated with buprenorphine transdermal patch on the basis of routine treatment. Compared the analgesic effect and adverse reactions between the two groups.

Results

There was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups after operation in 10 h (Z=-1.240; P=0.215). The difference was statistically significant between the two groups after 1 (Z=-3.163; P=0.002), 2 (Z=-2.793, P=0.005), 3 (Z=-3.096, P=0.002)、4 (Z=-2.266, P=0.023)、5 (Z=-2.266, P=0.023)、6 (Z=-2.497, P=0.013) days. From two to five days after surgery, the pain of the two groups gradually increased, and then decreased.

Conclusion

The buprenorphine transdermal patches have a good effect on postoperative analgesia of hemorrhoidectomy, and the adverse reactions are mild, so it is worthy of clinic application.
