Study on the environmental influence of intra-operative radiation therapy and examination in the operation room

Abstract:

Objective

To analyze the radiation level of the radiation therapy in the operation room, and to strengthen the management of radiation protection.

Methods

The FLUCK-451P ionization chamber inspection instrument was used to measure the data of the Mobetron mobile radiation accelerator when it working in the operation room.

Results

In the work load of 150 cases of surgery each year, 30 minutes of irradiation, the maximum radiation dose rate in the operation room was 5.65 μSv/h, and the radiation dose was 339 μSV per year.

Conclusion

Under the current working load, the radiation dose of the operation room personnel is lower than the safe dose limit.
