Clinical study of treatment of the automatic ligation of hemorrhoids(RPH)for mixed hemorrhoids plus rectal prolapse

Abstract:

Objective

To observe the superiority of the clinical effects of automatic ligation of hemorrhoids(RPH)for mixed hemorrhoids plus Prolapse of Rectal Mucosa compared with Milligan-morgan haemorrhoidectomy.

Methods

The experiment group patients(98 cases)were treated by the automatic ligation of hemorrhoids, and the control group patients(98 cases)were treated by traditional Milligan-Morgan.The main observation outcomes were cure rate, time of operation, postoperative pain scores, wound healing time and postoperative complications.

Results

The cure rate, time of operation, postoperative pain scores, wound healing time and postoperative complications in experiment group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05).

Conclusion

Automatic ligation of hemorrhoids possesses less pain, high cure rate, high cure rate, improve hard of defecate, and easy to popularize.
