Abstract:

The liver is the most common site of distant metastasis from colorectal cancer. The majority of colorectal cancer(CRC)patients have liver metastasis that initially is not suitable for resection. The optimal treatment strategy of patients with metastatic CRC should be discussed in a multidisciplinary team(MDT), the determination of the treatment goals and strategies are crucial. The ESMO(European Society for Medical Oncology)guideline is widely recognized and used as the standard for treatment of CRC patients, that doctors should attempt to follow.
